Please note the following guidelines for Meds Refill:
For Non-controlled Meds
Have you had a follow-up within the past month, unless we previously agreed on a 2- or 3-month follow-up schedule?
In most cases, refills are provided during your scheduled visit. If you missed or did not attend your recent appointment, please call 808-393-6566 to reschedule. Once your appointment is set, we can provide a 7-day supply to bridge the gap until your next visit. Your commitment and active participation in treatment are essential for achieving remission and preventing relapse.
Did you get any automated message from the pharmacy regarding “We are contacting your prescriber.” or ” Please contact your doctor for your meds”?
These messages are generated by a machine and are not usually sent by pharmacy staff. In most cases, they do not actually reach out to us in a timely manner—if at all. Please contact the pharmacy directly to check the status of your medication.
Did you receive an automated message from the pharmacy indicating that the medication is out of stock?
If your medication is out of stock, and you’re using a pharmacy chain (e.g., Longs Drugs, Walgreens), they can typically transfer the prescription to another location within their network. Simply ask which nearby location has it in stock and request that they transfer it to that store.
For Controlled substances
Have you seen your doctor for a prescription refill?
Please note that refills for controlled substances cannot be processed by phone or email. To schedule an appointment, call 808-393-6566.
Did you pick up your last prescription within 7 days of it being ordered?
Please note once your meds called in, there is 7day window to pick it up, otherwise it expires, and you need to request the meds again

Some high-demand or controlled medications may be out of stock at your local pharmacy. If this happens, please call your pharmacy to find one that has your medication in stock. Once you identify a pharmacy with availability, let us know and we will send the prescription there accordingly.
Is your controlled substance due within the next 2 days?
For example, if you picked up a 30-day supply on January 1, 2025, your next refill request should be submitted no earlier than January 29, 2025.
Due to state regulations, pharmacies are not allowed to dispense controlled substances ahead of schedule. If we submit the refill too early, the 7-day refill window will start from the order date, not the pickup date—meaning you could lose several days of medication coverage.
Please note if you’re making a request over the weekend, please contact us during regular business hours, Monday through Friday.
